CLEARANCES
The following minimum clearances should be added to the overall dimensions of each floor mounted heater guard.

Height - 100mm minimum above the top of the heater and 80mm below.

Depth - 80mm from the front face of the heater.

Length - 150mm to the overall length of the heater

  

Note that the length assumes the fused switch serving the heater is sited external to the guard. If the isolator is internal to the guard, then the guard will need to be longer.

ACCESS PANELS
Hinged, lockable, access panels are provided as as and when required, in the most suitable position for controls access. This is normally in the front or side panel of the guard. Access in the top face is unsuitable as this restricts heat flow.
