PROTEX steel radiator covers are robust, high quality heater guard casings specifically designed for enclosing heating radiators within a cabinet thereby converting them into a low surface temperature convector.

Primarily intended for protecting people from accidental burns, our custom radiator guards can also be used for aesthetic purposes to encase unsightly heating radiators together with their associated valves and pipework. BSMW radiator covers are designed to offer minimal resistance to air flow around the radiator, resulting in a very small reduction in output of the emitter whilst keeping the surface temperature of the cover to a safe 43°C and below on conventional low pressure heating systems.

Our LST radiator covers are of commercial quality, and are therefore most suitable for public buildings such as hospitals, schools, nurseries and nursing homes and wherever occupants are at risk from accidental burns. The unique large radius bullnose corners make the covers particularly suitable for occupants who are prone to accidental falls.

BSMW metal radiator covers are bespoke, made to measure, and therefore ideal for restoring poorly constructed and damaged existing convector casings. They are bracketed independently of the heat emitter and all cutouts and access options are factory made for a simple site installation.
